Writing and grammar in one wonderful book

Wonderful guide to writing texts of all types and wonderful grammar book for third graders. I not only use it to homeschool my own children in English, as they attend an Itlaian school, but I also use it to teach writing and grammar to my italian third graders. I recommend it to any family homeschooling their children.

Go for it.

Just got the manual for the Canon T6!/T6s that should have came with my camera. This is my 5th book by this author, I knew from previous experience I would not be disappointed. The book it self is expertly printed with very easy to see fonts and displayed with nearly perfect color pictures. I have been an amateur photographer for 65 years, no longer do we have a hand held light meter nor a hand held split image ranger finder to help with the focusing. Cameras evolve more with every new model and that is why you and I need a book like this, personally Chapter 3 helps with the description of all the controls since most have more than one function. Chapter 5 and auto focus probably done me the most good and since I am new to Wi-Fi this will make life much simpler. Just order your copy, the cost is a drop in the bucket for what we gave for the camera and probably less than a lot of the accessories we have bought and never used. I do not see how you can be disappointed.

A must have for every T6S/T6I Owner. Best of the lot.

This is the defacto book for the Canon T6S and T6I (yes, David explains the differences.)
I upgraded from the Canon T3I and I had purchased Mr. Busch's book on that camera as well.
Unlike the user's manual, this book feels like an old friend with his hand on your shoulder, not only explaining in logical steps and an easy to understand order what each funcion doesn and how and when those functions should be used. And beautiful photos giving you visual feedback of the differences. The personal recommendation boxes gives you tips for accessories, and examples of if and when you might want to get them for your level and style of shooting. The sections about using and setting up wifi, the different autofocus options (totally new for these models] and the lighthanded, intuitive way of explaining not only what a function does but real world feedback of how it will effect your results. This is more than a camera manual and how-to book, this will inspire your creativity and make you a better photographer, and leave you feeling like you were given personal lessons from one of the best intructors available.
One last thought... Since your new camera has wifi, and one of the coolest things you can do is shoot your photos and immediately review them on a tablet
, buy the Kindle edition and load it and the camera manuals on your tablet. If you need to look up an answer on a rarely used function, especially if shooting an unusual scenario away from home, you have Mr. Busch right there in your camera bag to help you out. The kindle edition is a little pricey. But in my opinion. Worth every penny. My galaxy tab s 10.5 tablet comes along on every shoot with me, as essential as spare batteries and SD cards.

If you have this camera you NEED this book!

This is the manual that should come with the camera! David Busch covers every aspect of the camera with useful information for beginners to experienced photographers. The paper book has a great table of contents and index which make this an easy to use reference book. I have one of his ebooks for an earlier model camera... the index has no links or page numbers making it frustratingly impossible to use so prospective purchasers of this in the ebook form may want to beware of that. I bought my camera in September before David's book was published and ordered two other books at that time while waiting for his book... don't waste your money and time, this book has it all.

a joke, not romance, men can abuse women and its fine

He says," he loves her more than life itself". Let's talk about this for a moment, the word love.

She was his wife, not girlfriend but wife.

He kisses another women in front of her. Yes she beats her up but doesn't get upset with her husband. Sorry but I would have a problem with my husband not the girl.

He ignores her for years while others are mean and abuses her. But he tells her to deal with it. Not his problem. Sure, some one breaks into your house, takes all her close and burns them, not his problem. Her scalp hurt do much she gets almost every night from the women pulling her hair, not his problem, he pretends he is a sleep.

She has bruises on her breast and butt, says a brother got a little to touchy. Forcing her clearly, but not his problem. He does nothing, doesn't even care. His wife, doesn't care someone touched her sexually and caused bruises.

So please tell me why any one would fault her for leaving. Her husband does care that she is physically, mentally and sexually assaulted.

I don't blame her one bit not telling him because a mother has to protect her children. If she had a daughter they wouldn't treat her any better. You want your son raised to be like those men, please.

Even with the13 year old son, saying it's ok to have sex, he will give him a couple of hours at that house to give him time. Letting a 13 year old drive, really. At this stage, I wouldn't want him around my kid, he is not a parent.

I'm so confused on why we like him. Why does she love him because he never cared one bit about her.

Sorry I found her a sad, door mat with no respect.

You end it with, we need to talk. So he never says sorry to her, never took responsibility for how he treated her and how he allowed other to treat her. Nothing. But he did say is was time to "woo" her and how he do that? Sex.

Yes so she forgave him just for sex.

So it's ok if he lies, cheats, doesn't care that you were sexually and physically assault, ignores you when you cry, tells you to deal with it but if her screws you then it's love. So sad you write this trash as romance.

If a man does any of this, leave but never go back.

He was a weak person, not worthy of being called a man. You cared about your son enough to get them kicked out of the hotel, didn't care where he would end of sleeping. Yes great dad.

Hated all the characters, I'm glad it's over because the writer. clearly think this is romance and acceptable behavior. It's love.

Truly a Mess

I'm extremely surprised at all the good reviews this book got. I managed to finish this book, but it was really out of curiosity as to how bad it could get.This book was a mess. The writing was just bland with a weak and unrealistic storyline full of plot holes.There are so many things that was going on in this book which took away from the main storyline.That being said, the story was hard to believe. Neither one of the main characters are very likable and the plot was disrespecting female in so many ways.

Not for me

This book didn't work for me. Given his attitude towards Dory and how he treated her during and after their marriage, I really don't understand why Dory loves him so much. Yes, she kept the existence of their child from him, but he told her she was dead to him so his reaction to finding out was beyond harsh! I also don't believe for one minute he was faithful during his marriage either. He never once took Dory's feelings into consideration - it's ALWAYS been about him and what he wants, so to me, it wasn't believable when he said he loves her and always has.
J.R was another one I was disappointed with. I was expecting him to stand up for his mother more. No matter how angry I am at my mother, I would never allow her to be disrespected the way J.R allowed his father to disrespect his mother.
I haven't read the previous books, but I didn't like this one. The writing was good, but the story didn't do it for me.

About the Author
Michel Le Bellac is Emeritus Professor at the University of Nice and a well-known elementary particle theorist. He graduated from the École Normale Supérieure in 1962, before conducting research with CNRS. In 1967 he returned to the University of Nice and was appointed Full Professor of Physics in 1971, a position he held for over 30 years. His main fields of research have been the theory of elementary particles and field theory at finite temperatures. He has published four other books in French and three other books in English, including Thermal Field Theory (Cambridge University Press, 1996) and Equilibrium and Non-equilibrium Statistical Thermodynamics (with Fabrice Mortessagne and G. George Bartouni, Cambridge University Press, 2004).

Great book (but not for beginners)

Don't be fooled by the title, this is NOT an introduction to quantum mechanics.

This book is a valuable resource for those who have attended all undergraduate quantum theory courses. It is complete and rigorous and the important ideas are clearly highlighted.

If you are a starting graduate looking for a single book on quantum theory then ignore the poor reviews and get this book, you won't regret it!

Must read!

I wish I had this before I graduated college, and definitely before getting my first full time job after graduate school. While reading this, I felt a sense of validation as I witnessed challenges at one place of business that appeared connected to my gender and my race. My experiences elsewhere had been more positive, while I still felt uncomfortable as one of a few females, or one of a few black people.

The inclusion of male and female anecdotes at the end is specially helpful. I think it's important that men are included in this discussion, which they are in this book, and as someone who is just beginning her career, and has experienced many twists and turns along the way, seeing the journey of others is refreshing and helps to put my circumstances into perspective.

A friend recommended this to me, and I have been recommending this to other friends and acquaintances as well.

This was phenomenal. It truly changed my life. This is the perfect gift for new grads. As a new grad myself, I found it funny, witty, and informative. I love that some of the chapters were written by other professionals. It gave a variety of experiences.

Super. The book is colorful with nice illustrations. It covers the different liturgical seasons. It covers the faith at a 1st grade level very well. My youngster is learning about the trinity, holy spirit, Jesus life, death and resurrection at a first grade level. This is the book that he uses at Catholic school and I could not be more pleased. I bought this copy for at home so that I could see what he is learning about in school and I am so glad I did. It is nice to have a home copy to do the family activities that are included in the book.

About the Author
Bandu N. Pamadi is a Senior Aerospace Engineer at NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, Va. He taught for about 15 years at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and at the Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Va. He earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Karnatak University, M.S. in aeronautical engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and Ph.D. in aeronautical engineering (aerodynamics) from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is an associate fellow of AIAA and a fellow of Aeronautical Society of India.

Great book! I use this book practically everyday. If you don't have a copy of the USAF Stability and Control DATCOM, this book is probably the next best thing. He presents the DATCOM techniques for estimating aircraft stability derivatives. One of the most used books in my library!
