About the Author
Thomas G. Robertazzi is an associate professor of electrical engineering at Suny at Stony Brook. In recent years, he has taught telecommunications and data networking courses at Suny at Stony Brook, The Cooper Union, and in industry. Since 1993 Professor Robertazzi has also been faculty director of the Stony Brook Interdisciplinary Program in Science and Engineering. Professor Robertazzi's research interests lie in the performance evaluation of computer and communication systems. He has published extensively in the areas of parallel processor scheduling, ATM switching, Queueing networks, Petri networks, and multihop radio networks. In the area of performance evaluation, he has written one book, coauthored a second, and edited a third. Professor Robertazzi has served as an editor of books for the IEEE Communications Society and as an associate editor of the journal, Wireless Networks.

Wonderful LA resource!

The Weekly Writing Lessons created by Sandra Cook and Helen Leon are a great resource for classroom teachers, tutors, or parents, who seek help in writing instruction for their children. Skills are presented in a focused and incremental manner, with lots of opportunity for student practice. They are a great way to first introduce specific elements of writing in isolation. Students may then demonstrate their understanding and mastery within curricular or independent writing tasks. Anyone who has ever taught writing will appreciate the value of these lessons. An excellent job by the authors!

I am an elementary school teacher with extensive experience in teaching Writing. I am always looking for great supplemental instruction and Sandra Cook created an excellent resource to reinforce skills that foster student writing. This book is great for small-group or one-on-one instruction. The skills are to-the-point and align to the common core standards of writing, which is what all writing teachers look for. I HIGHLY recommend this book to any parent, teacher, or administrator who is looking to enhance student achievement and build mastery in writing. Excellent product!

Too much talk of emotion...Too little actual action. Rosie sounds sweet and deep. Would have been nice to see more substance and depth.

A Woman That Didn't Want To Face Her Past

Rose had some painful things happen to her in the past and doesn't want to dwell on them. So she changes who she is and hides what she really is inside. She put it all in the past where it belonged. There was one person who wouldn't let her forget her past and that was Jake Lucas.

Jake wasn't going to let Rose get away from her past. He is still angry about it and wants someone to pay.

This was a little different than some of the books that the author wrote. I love one's that mixes it up sometimes and isn't afraid to do it.
